Kimiko Kitamura
French artist born in 1987, she mainly draws landscapes with coloured pencils, from which emanates a form of intimacy, an inner mood. For Memo Paris, Kimiko imagined the setting of Marfa, a destination that particularly touches her: "For me, it is a place that reveals a cosmic aspect of our planet. A desert landscape where the colours finally have the amplitude to fade almost to infinity... There is little to stop them apart from a few cacti. It was a real challenge to detach myself from the real gradients of the Marfa sky and land and still try to convey its surprising beauty. Almost all my drawings start with a landscape: the more distant, the more exciting. That's why I was delighted to create the graphic universe of this perfume.
