Shams means “sun” in Arabic, and the supreme star is indeed the glowing hearth of the fragrance, the inspiration for its woody, leather-scented incandescence, its blazing accents, the golden color of the fragrance. Shams means "sun" in Arabic. Legend has it that the Persian god Mithra climbed into his gold-covered chariot at dawn and whipped his horses forward to pull the sun across the sky until dusk. But at nightfall, it was swallowed by a man, only to return to life at dawn... The heat makes our hearts swell in a hand-to-hand combat of pepper, ginger and saffron. I first bought Shams Oud 10 years ago. Since then it has been my favorite perfume. I've never ordered perfume online, and I must say the experience was great. I can definitely say I'm Memo addicted! Can’t wait to order a whole Leather line one by one 🫶
